Controls, motors and drives Evaluate and calibrate all electronic devices on the line
Advise recommendations, modifications and/or upgrades to improve performance and ease of operation
Inspect motor brushes and motor cooling fans
Inspect and grease motor bearings
Extruder Disassemble and inspect Extruder Grooved feed section, Barrel and Screw.
Measure barrel, screw and groove feed section
Confirm water flow to feed section and clean in-line filter
Inspect operation of barrel heaters, TC's and cooling fans
Inspect and align motor coupling/belts
Inspect Gear-box oil
Die Disassemble and evaluate the die
Clean die down to the spirals if necessary
Inspect and confirm proper operation of heaters and thermocouples
Inspect die gap
